The third day of the AAL Congress, February 1st, 2008 informs on ongoing activites in this exciting and strongly upcoming area.

This third day is jointly organised by the Ambient Assisted Living Association, the legal representative of the AAL Joint Programme, and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Germany.
The conference language is English.
The 4 programme blocks:
The AAL Joint Programme session presents all facts of the new European funding programme. Attendees will learn about the scope and planned activities under the AAL programme.
Within the additional activities session, two EU funded projects are presented which call for support from among the audience, e.g. concerning the active participation in future activities.
The European Good Practise Session presents a limited number of European projects or initiatives from all over Europe. This session is concluded by a podium discussion during which a number of highly relevant issues for successful AAL projects shall be identified.
Finally, European match making of organisations for forthcoming AAL calls (or other European is supported by a set of “elevator pitch sessions” of promising project ideas.
